I am not using Qubies for baby food (I do have 2 boys, and the Qubies would have come in very handy when they were babies that is for sure!). I subscribe to Practical Parenting as my youngest son is 3 and this is how I heard about it!!! I utilise Qubies more for fancy ice cubes, gravy, etc. I love the product, as well as the nice colours! I think the entire ordering process as well as delivery was a very smooth transaction! The item arrived so quickly!!!!

Amie’s SMASH!

Ingredients

3 cups boiling water

375 gms red lentils

500gms pumpkin, peeled and diced (or half half potato & pumpkin)

Method

Add lentils to boiling water in a pot. Stir.

Meanwhile, bake or steam 500gm pumpkin until soft.

Puree pumpkin with a little water (or milk for creamier consistency).

When the lentils are cooked (soft and soggy and quite frothy) add the pumpkin mix to the pot and stir.

If you find it’s a little too runny add some rice cereal or cous cous.

Serve to bub and freeze leftovers in your Qubies.
